Vreeland Rail Page

The Vreeland Rail is owned and operated by Vreeland Rail, along with Pepin-Ireco Co. Explosives, and runs out of National Mine. Vreeland Rail owns one locomotive which is a SW-1 switcher #600. The Vreeland works with cars for the explosives plant, and also moves cars for A&L Metal in National Mine, in which they bring out for the Wisconsin Central. The Vreeland exchanges loads with WC LO40 which is out of Ishpeming. LO40 will then run to Winthrop JCT., to pick up the freight the Vreeland has left. It is also very rare to see the Vreeland out on the rails.
